Quality Management Technologists are responsible for the quality and processes of systems within radiology departments, performing quality control tests, assessing film density, monitoring accuracy, and identifying and solving issues associated with producing medical images. ARRT certification is voluntary, but certification in QM may help those seeking a career in quality management, preparing for QM registry, or advancing in the profession of radiography.
